ProSculpt Artdoll Contest!

Johnston Original Artdolls/The ProSculpt Company is pleased to announce the 2023-24 ProSculpt Artdoll Contest. The contest will run from September 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024.


About the ProSculpt Artdoll Contest

ProSculpt Artdoll Contest!

The first-place prize will be "Sister Monvene Jane" an original artdoll created by Master Sculptor Jack Johnston. Mr. Johnston is giving his sculpture as a gift to the winner. It is his way of thanking everyone for the 30 years he was active as an instructor and fellow artist. The retail value of this original artdoll is $10,000.00. This is likely the biggest prize given to date!


The second-place winner will receive one case "12 1-pound  bars" of ProSculpt and on-line access  to all 8 of Master Sculptor Jack Johnston's instructional videos. Retail value of $640.00

How to enter

There is no charge to enter the contest and no limit on the dolls you can enter. The only requirement is that your sculpture be created from ProSculpt Polymer Clay, the artdoll must be an original sculpt and made during the duration of the contest. 

The ProSculpt needs to be purchased from www.makingartdolls.com. Once purchased, your name will be added to the entry list. 

All dolls entered in the contest will have an image of their doll placed in the doll gallery at www.makingartdolls.com. 


We are reducing the cost of ProSculpt by 30% off the MSRP of $24.99. The sale price is $17.49 and will remain in effect for the duration of the ProSculpt Artdoll Contest.

To Properly judge the contest the following photos are needed. Without all of the requested photos your artdoll may not be judged and therefore not eligible for the contest.

  • Closeup of the feet or shoes
  • Left and Right side of the doll
  • Full front view
  • Full back view
  • Posed doll with costume and accessories

Judging

The sculpture will be judged using the following ten categories. To make it possible to receive the highest score you must show the head, hair or head covering, hands, costume, feet or shoes, and accessories if they are included in the completed sculpt. We will give the sculpture a grade of 10 possible points in each category for a total of 100 points.
